This patient came in with an Overbite, high canines, and crowded teeth. Using braces, we successfully addressed these issues. Our treatment aimed to achieve Dr. Watson’s signature Smile Arc, broadening the smile to display teeth evenly from corner to corner, following the natural curve of the lower lip line. By moving down the canines and improving tooth alignment, we avoided the appearance of a “gummy” smile while enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal and accentuating the patient’s natural facial features. This patient is a perfect example of a Timeless Smile.
This patient came in with crowded teeth and high canines. We were able to place an FLA and Nance appliance on his arches to maintain space while his permanent teeth erupted. When his canines were in enough, we were able to place braces and move them down in the safest way possible to avoid any potential damage to surrounding roots. We were able to resolve the crowding through braces and a series of aligners after braces were removed to finish the job.
This patient came in with a CLIII bite, commonly referred to as an Underbite. In addition to braces, this patient had jaw surgery to improve his jaw alignment and bite functionality.
This patient came in with crowded teeth, high canines and a posterior crossbite. We placed a Quad Helix to widen her upper arch and correct the placement of her upper molars that were in a posterior crossbite. We placed braces on at the same time as the appliance. The treatment successfully resolved crowding, lowered her canines, and corrected her deep bite, resulting in a beautiful, Timeless Smile.
This patient had braces when he was younger but lost his retainers. He had a Diastema, which is commonly known as a space between his front teeth. We were able to use the braces to close that space while maintaining a proper bite. At the end of his treatment, we recommended bonding a permanent retainer to keep the space closed.
This patient had a CLII bite, commonly referred to as an Overbite. This type of CLII bite is considered more of a skeletal issue than a teeth issue. This treatment required a Herbst appliance, which moved his lower jaw forward while he was in a growth spurt. This caused the appearance of his chin to be in line with his upper lip, making it more prominent, rather than set back as it was before.
